Bonang Matheba clearly knows the formula for success as the star recently bagged another win in the second GQ Men of the Year awards. The magazine's event honoured the recipients of their awards at an evening ceremony and Bonang attended looking as fabulous as ever.

The lifestyle magazine shook things up and instead of naming a man for the top spot, GQ gave it to Bonang and named her Woman of the Year.

Queen B took to her social media to express gratitude for the win and share how honoured she was to be the recipient of the title.

Bonang also revealed that she'd done the photoshoot for her win at her house and still managed to slay every look. Followers of the celeb immediately took to the comments to gush about their fave and also compliment her on the win.

Bonang's fans told her how much she deserved the title and that she had managed to stay on top of things in her career despite 2020 being such a tumultuous year:

the_bforce: "Congrats Queen, they couldn't have chosen a more deserving honoree."
call.me.katliii: "Well-deserved."
lindelwaacele: "What I aspire to be."
edna_mumbua: "Congratulations Bonang."
khomotsomahloko: "Reign Bonang! Reign."
iggy_pullz: "Ha Queen B. You are one powerful woman. Tlhatlhamolla girl. So super proud of you."
purplepoise12: "What a woman. Congratulations Queen."

Briefly.co.za previously reported on Bonang taking a well-deserved holiday and explaining why she's not been active on social media.

It has been all quiet on the western front, almost complete radio silence from Bonang Matheba, which is surprising as she is one of South Africa's most popular celebrities. Fans were growing anxious, nay, worried even that something had befallen the beloved personality. She took to social media to put their minds at ease with a simple but informative post:

"...I'm on holiday. Hence the silence. Askies."

Her fans missed her so much that they called for her to go live to get their fix of the celeb. The last time she posted on Instagram was on 25 November, which is an eternity in the social media universe.
