The River cast and crew honour Sindi Dlathu as she starts new position

Sindi Dlathu was recently promoted to being a co-producer on The River and the award-winning actress was welcomed to her new position in style. The cast and crew members of the popular soapie congratulated Sindi for her new role in the show.

In a video shared by The River's social media team on Instagram, Sindi is seen walking through a line-up of the cast and crew members who were praising her for her amazing achievement. She was initially confused at who they were clapping for but soon realised that it was all for her.

Sindi took the time to make a speech thanking her co-workers for their support:

"Thank you so much I appreciate this. This means a lot, I also appreciate each and every one of you. I appreciate all the words of encouragement from most of you guys," said Sindi.

She said that sometimes when she is working she feels like she is not doing enough but someone from the crew always reassures her that she is doing her best.

Sindi told her colleagues how much she appreciates the feedback they give her. She also told them to always remember to be kind to one another.

"Let's not forget that we are all here on our different journeys and we are all important in our various duties as a team," she said.
