Italian star cries out after car wash attendant wrecks his Ferrari 812
- Federico Marchetti was in training with Genoa when his R6.2 million was wrecked by a car wash worker
- The goalkeeper left his ride for it to be cleaned and headed to training before the incident
- He was left fuming following the crash but expressed delight that the driver was unhurt

Italian international, Federico Marchetti, was left upset after a car wash employee wrecked his £300,000 (about R6.2 million) worth Ferrari 812 Superfast car having crashed it against a barrier.
The Genoa goalkeeper was engaged with the club during a training session when the incident happened as the car was left bashed.
UK outlet SunSport is reporting that the star decided to get his ride cleaned at the car wash and then tasked the employee to deliver it to the training ground.
Unable to handle it, the Ferrari 812 Superfast ride was left mangled after it was crashed into a safety barrier as well as five other parked cars.
Pictures show police officers as well as recovery workers attending to it, but the driver was unharmed.
Marchetti wrote after the incident:
“I am very sorry about what happened. Thank God no-one was hurt, and that is the most important thing.
“I've read a lot of bad stuff written. Let's leave it alone - I hope I won't have to read it anymore."
The 812 Superfast is Ferrari's most powerful sports car ever built and it has 1 petrol engine on offer.
Depending upon the variant and fuel type, the model has a mileage of 6.7 kmpl and it has a top speed of over 211mph
Marchetti has won 11 Italy caps and played at the 2010 World Cup finals.
Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather has shown-off his exotic £8million worth mansion which is fitted with two large swimming pools as well as an underground garage fit enough to take 20 cars.
Clips showing the apartment have surfaced online thanks to 21-year-old Devin Haney who shared several videos during a tour of the legend’s house in Las Vegas.
Haney was given an incredible walk around the house by the 43-year-old boxing legend and the first clip showed Mayweather’s wardrobe for shoes.
However, Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Trevor Noah splashed out a cool R400 million on a house in Bel-Air, it was built and designed by a Los Angeles architect named Mark Rios.
People were blown away by the scale of the home, six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and a whole range of luxuries such as a spa and screening room.
