Man Reveals Inspiration for Becoming a Nurse: "Can't Deny a Calling"

Willie Gim is a young South African nurse who shared the backstory in choosing his career path online. According to Willie, he faced a difficult time healthwise. He was close to death and had a major operation.
Willie thanked the doctors and nurses who worked around the clock to ensure he was okay. He also took time out to thank God for regaining his strength and health. After his health scare, he promised himself he would study to become a nurse.
The young man shared a post to Facebooks #ImStaying group revealing his dream to become a nurse is now a reality.

"(I) almost died, and had a major operation, all thanks to the tireless doctors and nurses who made sure I am okay. Not forgetting the almighty God for the breath of life... I told myself that once I recover I am going to study to be a nurse.
"By the GRACE of God it did come to pass so that's why #IAmStaying."
