Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that despite the Stormers best efforts they were unable to keep Springbok captain Siya Kolisi. He has been linked to a move to the Sharks in KwaZulu-Natal.

The Stormers has been the only home Siya has known in his rugby career spanning 11 years. His contract was officially set to end in October 2021 but Siya was ready to move on.

His move to KZN has a lot to do with changes which have taken place with the Sharks. The KZN team sold a controlling stake in the franchise to Roc Nations Sport in January.

In other news, Rachel and Siya Kolisi have been serving couples to Mzansi ever since they got together. However, this was not always the case. Rachel revealed that she gave Siya a bit of a hard time before she finally agreed to date him.
