A young woman, Gratitude N. Masango, recently headed to Facebook's ImStaying to share a thank you message with Annamarie van der Merwe. According to her post, Annamarie paid for her baby's things after she was having trouble transferring her cash.

"Guys I had my own #ImStaying moment today (13.02.2021). So I went to Pnp clothing for a scarf, but then I saw some beautiful baby clothes for my son, I impulsively took took took... Hawu when I get to the tills I'm trying to transfer money but the network isn't connecting.

"And this very kind-hearted woman offers to pay for me, I didn't believe it, I thought it was a joke. But she did the most selfless thing ever, she paid for me, a stranger she doesn't know. Annamarie van der Merwe (Deysel) I appreciate you, God bless you, you made me feel special,"she wrote happily.

"I finally traced the lady who bought my mother groceries in January, it was the first time for my family to enjoy food from Woolworths. I sent her a DM on Instagram, I hope she will remember me."
