Skeem Saam actor Mlungisi Mathe has joined a list of Mzansi stars who have accepted their calling to become a sangoma.

The star, who portrays the character of Emkay in the telenovela, revealed that he is already a practising sangoma.

He shared that he took his time to accept the calling because he had no idea what was happening to him.

In a recent interview with Daily Sun, Mlungisi opened up about his gift of healing people. Mlungisi, who also plays the role of Themba in eHostela, told the publication:

"The gift of healing people is hard because you lose yourself. Amadlozi are using and getting their chance of life through you. I found out I had Amadlozi before I was even 15."

Besides his calling, the talented thespian shared that he’s also a medium and spiritualist. He said he reads books, the Bible and interprets dreams and people's journeys.

A tweep recently tried her luck with Boity but the star used her sangoma instincts to spot the trickster. In a now-deleted tweet, the follower asked the reality TV star and businesswoman for rent money.
