A lady, Faith Oyita, has again proven the fact that anybody is capable of doing whatever they set their mind on irrespective of their gender.
As a 16-year-old teenager, the lady resolved to learn shoemaking after coming to the realisation that hawking did not hold a future for her.
In a BBC News Pidgin interview, Faith said when she approached the person who was going to teach her, the cobbler thought she wasn't serious.
The lady stated that due to the poor background that she came from, she had to be a shoemaker for one year to save for her education.
Faith disclosed that though she knew the job was not an easy one, she endured it with the determination to succeed.
The professional shoemaker revealed that her hope is to one day own a shoemaking university where people can come to and learn the art.
