"Josè Mourinho took a stand against the new European Super League and the club owner sacked him on the spot. A huge respect for Josè cause he understands how football should be played."

@MokingLesetja said:

“But the problem remains the same. Pochettino was sacked and came Mourinho. He continued with the same squad, no new signings now he will get another manager with the very same old squad. Spurs ke Chiefs from London. There are only two players there Kane and Son.”

“Maybe it’s time he calls it quits!! He’s no longer relevant to modern-day football.”

“Maybe for the 5th time, at Chelsea, sacked, Madrid, sacked, United, sacked, Inter, sacked.”

@Linda_Ngondo said:

“Firing Pochettino was Spurs' biggest mistake... Bheka manje (Look now), he's in the Champions League semi-finals.”

@Mpho_Toni said:

“Quite premature considering Josè inherited the squad. If given time he probably would've brought in the right players. The current squad is a bit lethargic in comparison to the likes of Chelsea, who've also been rebuilding. Good coaches are hard to come by. Tottenham will struggle.”

In other stories, Briefly News reported that the Lily Whites have sacked Mourinho with just six days to their Carabao Cup final against the Citizens.

It was gathered that Spurs have decided to dispense with Mourinho after just over a season and a half in charge. They are in the seventh position on the Premier League standings and at risk of missing out on a place in the top four.
