Media personality Siv Ngesi opened up about the hard times he faced in his childhood, especially how he didn't have the financial resources.
Taking to Twitter, Siv spoke about how he struggled but he felt that he was rich in other ways.
"Told a close high school friend how badly we were struggling financially during high school, she had no idea! F*** I was so jealous of the other kids."
My currency was first-team rugby/Waterpolo, drama kid, debating etc. I was filthy rich in that department," he tweeted.
Social media users could relate to Siv's statement and Mzansi actor Tumisho Masha chimed in, speaking about how he could relate to what the media personality was saying.
"Your past made you the success you are today plus it gave you bravery and strength being a rich kid could not have done."
"Well done to you though for realizing that at an early age and letting it make you better and not bitter," said Tumisho.
Siv feels as though he was disadvantaged but not sees how that period of his life contributed to the bubbly personality that he is today.
