Jessica Nkosi is trending on X after a candid, no-filter video she filmed aboard a plane set off a wave of speculation about whether the South African actress has had a nose job.

The clip, shot in a selfie style inside what appears to be a first or business class cabin, has a relaxed travel-vlog feel with no on-screen text or captions. Nkosi appears bare-faced and unbothered, clearly not expecting the online storm that followed.

It was X user @bongyluaziey who lit the fuse, posting the video alongside the question: "Did Jessica Nkosi get some work done on her nose?? Something is off." From there, the post took on a life of its own.

Mzansi reacts to Londie's looks

Watch the video that sparked the debate below.

The reactions on X were sharply split between those who feel her look has changed and those who put it down to nothing more than a bare face and travel fatigue.

@Ke_Mpho_M weighed in bluntly:

"It's always been ugly, she's beautiful yena, but her nose is ugly"

@Maserame2026 disagreed entirely:

"She's always been like this though"

@Joygwxo came to Nkosi's defence with frustration:

"This is why celebrities and influencers stop sharing their personal lives with us. You guys criticise and question everything. It's just a bare face with no makeup. 🤦🏽‍♀️"

@mixedracedUncle, a parody account, kept it simple:

"Always had this nose, she just doesn't have make-up on"

@Sdudla_33 was not convinced by that explanation:

"She definitely had some work done. Maybe it's healing. Her original nose is wide."

@karaboo_peggy pushed back:

"No, that's been her nose though"

@SelinaSeli68995 offered what may be the most straightforward read of the situation:

"She has been like this; it's her bare face with no make-up, and she looks exhausted ❤️"

Whether it is a rhinoplasty or simply the reality of what any person looks like at 30 000 feet without a full face of make-up, netizens cannot seem to agree. Nkosi has not publicly addressed the speculation.
