A video from Dr Malinga's performance has set social media alight, but not for the reasons fans typically expect from the popular entertainer.

The footage, which circulated widely online on 25 October 2026, shows the Asilali singer in what can only be described as a battle to hold his composure mid-show. A fan had made their way onto the stage and, almost immediately, climbed onto the artist's back. Malinga visibly struggled to free himself while trying to keep his performance going, eventually managing to shake the person off - only for them to grab hold of him again, pulling him towards them as he attempted to back away.

The clip drew a wave of reactions in the comments, with viewers split between laughing at the spectacle and expressing genuine concern. Many believed the fan appeared to be intoxicated.

"What is this kid doing, Nkosiyam? Where are the security guards? Why aren't they taking her back to the crowd?"

The question of whether the fan's behaviour crossed a line also came up.

"Is this not sexual harassment?"

Davido calls out fan mid-performance

In an earlier report, Briefly News shared footage from Davido's show in London, which he stopped midway after spotting a fan disrespecting members of his crew in the crowd.

The Nigerian star issued the fan a stern ultimatum before deciding whether to continue his set, which drew sharp comparisons between his reaction and another singer's infamous concert behaviour.
