Popular actor Seal spent some time with a South African. He made waves on social media after a video of him speaking Afrikaans surfaced.

Online users were chuffed to see an international celebrity showing his knowledge of South Africa. A video of the actor interacting with a South African went viral on Facebook.
Seal spoke to a man, John De Jager, in Afrikaans. A video on Facebook of the Hollywood star confirming that he knows how to speak Afrikaans was a hit amongst South Africans. In the viral clip that amassed over 2000 likes, John was beaming that he was with Seal and was even happy to announce that the actor knows how to speak Afrikaans. To prove it, Seal greeted him in Afrikaans. He said: "ja broer, howz it man.". John and Seal exchanged some pleasantries, and he declared that the singer could pass as a South African in the video's caption.

Briefly News previously reported that Jamie Foxx got bitten by the Amapiano bug and embraced the famous genre.
The controversial actor and comedian, famous for his roles in Ray and Django Unchained, shared a video of himself at a padel court on 19 August 2025 vibing to Lutho by RIVALZ, Ceeka RSA and Optimist Music ZA.
This comes two years after Jamie endured a major health scare in April 2023, leading to his hospitalisation.
The actor was reported to have suffered a stroke while in production of his new Netflix movie, Back in Action, which was released on 17 January.
