Style icon and luxury content creator Kefilwe Mabote set social media alight after sharing Instagram Stories appearing to show her posing beside a white Ferrari she claimed to have purchased. The post, picked up and shared by pop culture account @Saltiesunmasked, sent Mzansi into a frenzy of both congratulations and scepticism.

In the reveal, Mabote dressed the occasion in a fitted black leather bomber jacket, oversized sunglasses, and black knee-high boots as she stood before the gleaming vehicle. Adding a spiritual touch, she overlaid the scripture reference ‘Matthew 10:28’ across a cinematic close-up of the car's front headlights.

Questions over the car's identity

Almost immediately, followers began picking apart the post. The page owner, Saltiesunmasked, also acknowledged the model mix-up with characteristic humour, writing: ‘I am just a girl; I don't know what is what; I just thought all Ferraris were called Roma.’
