Filmed in what appears to be a home office or study, his voice cracked with emotion as he addressed what he described as a country in crisis.

"No one is safe in South Africa 🇿🇦, Who is Next?" Mbuli wrote in his caption, a chilling question that captured the mood of many South Africans.

Nine Bodies Found in Ekurhuleni

By the time Mbuli posted his video, nine women had been found dead in the Ekurhuleni region, with some of the cases linked to the Kempton Park area. Police were already investigating eight of the deaths as a possible pattern, with victims discovered in similar circumstances across Gauteng since July 2026. The development reignited urgent conversations about gender-based violence and femicide, particularly coming just weeks after the country marked Women's Month.

In his video, Mbuli lamented that women are being treated as lesser human beings. "What a shame. What a country," he said. "It's a country with the highest forms of massacres... We keep on losing our own. What a shame, South Africa. What a shame."
