Nehemiah Tjatji, an actor and TV and radio presenter known for hosting the reality series Verified, opened up about his strengths.
"If not my energy, then really my ability to come into a space and make you, as a viewer at home, feel like you are a part of it and have a personal experience," he said.
Actor, model and social media personality Ross Marshall also made the cut. Beyond entertainment, Marshall founded Fortified Coaches, a youth mentorship ministry. He summed up his appeal simply:
"Because I love people, I love going on adventures, I love going on journeys, I love learning and asking questions."
Radio presenter Karen Mthethwa, who hosts YFM's The Glow Up, brought her trademark energy to the competition.
"I am a young girl from Soweto with a whole lot of energy, who is devoted to broadcasting in South Africa," she said.
Sports scientist Homba Mazaleni, a Top 5 finalist in Miss South Africa 2023, rounds out the group with a passion for soccer, cricket and Formula 1. Her sports coverage, including reporting around this year's Soccer World Cup, has already showcased her on-screen presence.
"First and foremost, I think I'm a little bit fun; I think I bring a little bit of exciting energy to all the things that I do," she shared.
Rounding out the five is keynote speaker and master of ceremonies Talitha Bothma, who believes great presenting is really about human connection.
"I understand that being a presenter is about unravelling the person I get to have a discussion with. I have an ability to ignite that childlike heart within the people I speak to," she explained.

@Dominic_Zaca said:
"The first guy is taking it. Not sure about the 'easy on the eye' gay guy, the Plus Size Body Positivity girlie, and the Chinese eyes girlie. They might surprise me. The white girlie looks older and should rather go for Pasella Presenter Search."
