An episode of Life with Felix that aired on 18 October 2026 has got fans buzzing after it emerged that reality TV star and entrepreneur Tracy Hlophe may have cheated on her husband Felix during their marriage, with his family now demanding a formal, traditional apology before they can move forward.

The episode kicked off with Felix's older sister, Nozipho, paying him a visit at home. During their conversation, Felix admitted that he and Tracy were co-parenting while living apart, confessing that the distance had left him feeling lonely, even though his love for her remains unchanged.

The family rift Felix couldn't hide

Things took a more serious turn when Felix revealed that two of his older siblings, Bhabha and Lulu, were still carrying unresolved anger towards Tracy over her past behaviour and would only consider reconciling once she took accountability. Nozipho then went to Lulu's home to hear her side directly.

Lulu shared that after discussing the situation with Bhabha, he proposed a traditional ceremony where Tracy could formally apologise, not just to the living members of the Hlophe family, but to their ancestors as well. The suggestion pointed to just how deeply the alleged transgression had wounded the family's sense of honour and dignity.

It was at this point in the episode that Felix alluded to infidelity, noting that people had wrongly assumed he was the one who had strayed. The implication was clear: Tracy had allegedly been unfaithful, and that act is at the root of the current family standoff. Felix previously revealed that he has personally forgiven her, but his family feel her actions disrespected the Hlophe name in a way that requires more than a private apology to heal.

Fans question the narrative

Many viewers took to social media defending Tracy, with some suggesting the storyline may have been crafted to protect Felix's image following his own widely reported marriage controversies in the past.

"You can’t blame Tracy. That woman accused her of using muthi and even claimed that the child is not yours."

"I don’t know what she did, but I don’t blame her."

"If you cheat on your wife, she will eventually cheat on you."

Whether the traditional ceremony will actually take place, and whether Tracy will agree to it, remains to be seen as the season continues.
