A teacher from Maphephetha High School, in the rural KZN, proved that teaching for her was a calling and not a job, after showing passion for her craft.

She shared her video as a follow-up to part one on her TikTok handle @lwandisiwehlophe on 1 April 2026, where it gained nearly 200 comments from deeply moved viewers.

The teacher shared that on Wednesdays, her learners bring water from their homes as the car which supplies them only comes once a week. While waiting for them to arrive in class, she started decorating the back wall wth flowers and posters she had printed. There was also a career section created on the wall for the learners to imagine the careers they would like to pursue when they finish school.
