A woman's deeply personal act of faith has captured the attention of thousands online after she began handwriting the entire Bible as a gift for a man she has not yet met. TikTok creator @they.call.her.faith posted the video in August 2026 as part of an ongoing series documenting her progress. In the clip, filmed on a covered porch, she holds up a spiral-bound notebook filled with neatly handwritten, colour-coded scripture.

The lady shared that by day 10, she had worked her way through to Genesis 4. What sets her project apart is not just the handwriting itself, but the structure she has built around it. She explained that she has incorporated four distinct categories throughout the text: prayers for herself, prayers for her future husband, prayers for her future family, and personal love notes addressed to the man she hopes to marry.
Each category is written in a different colour so that her future husband can follow her thought process as he reads. She described the idea as a way of letting him see her "heart posture" at the exact moment she was engaging with each passage of scripture.
The woman also plans to gift him the original Bible she used as her reference while handwriting, so he can see the full journey from source to finished work. She added that she intends to share some of her written prayers in future episodes, hoping they might inspire others to reflect on their own prayer lives. Watch her explain in a video below:

"The literal hate on Christianity is so insane, and 90% of the comments are made by people who need to be on some serious medication. What I think you are doing is lovely and reminds me when people did love gestures and tokens that took time. I think this says alot about your character as a person. I am sorry for the scrutiny that you have to go through by unhinged weirdos."
