A Johannesburg content creator has sent South Africans into a frenzy after revealing a biscuit factory shop that sells snacks at a fraction of what shoppers pay at major supermarkets.

Tsakane Christa, known online as @tsakane_africa, shared the walkthrough clip on 26 September 2026. She filmed herself moving through the shelves at the Continental Brands Cookie Factory Shop in Aeroton, Johannesburg South, giving her followers an up-close look at the price tags.

"These retail for double the price if not more," she said at the start of the video, setting the tone for what became one of her most talked-about shopping tips.

What the Continental Brands shop offers

The store carries a wide range of both sweet and savoury biscuits. Tasty treats start from R6.50, salty biscuits at R11.50, ginger snaps at R13.50, and cracker mixes for cheese boards at R16 to R32. Classic lunch biscuits go for R40, while cheesy bites and pickle crackers are also available, with prices ranging from R25 to R40. Tsakane mentioned she often visits before year-end to buy snacks for client gift packages.

She noted that the savoury range is her personal favourite, particularly for picnics and cheese boards. The factory shop has two Johannesburg locations: the main store at 13 Aerodrome Road, Aeroton (open Monday to Saturday), and a second outlet inside the Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market in City Deep at 1 Fortune Street (open Monday to Saturday, from 6:00 AM).
