Bernard Parker has publicly addressed TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi's sharp assessment of his final matches in charge, insisting the circumstances surrounding the Kruger United defeat were more complex than the result suggested.

Parker was relieved of his head coaching duties after back-to-back 1-0 losses — first to newly promoted Kruger United in the Mpumalanga Derby, then to Chippa United the following week. Sukazi drew widespread attention when he described the Kruger United match as TS Galaxy's "worst match ever" in an interview with Ikwekwezi FM, and recommended that Parker pursue additional coaching qualifications.

Parker Points to Red Card as Key Factor

Speaking to Robert Marawa on Wednesday evening, Parker outlined why the Rockets struggled against Kruger United, citing the dismissal of Veluyeke Zulu in the 50th minute as the moment that altered the team's approach entirely.

"Coming to being the worst game ever, getting a red card in the beginning of the (second half), and then you cannot play your own game anymore," Parker said.
"It's normal; it's football. You cannot play your own game anymore. Now you have to tweak and see how you can still get a result out of this game. I believe I did get the correct decision. It's just that we missed the last chance we got, and we conceded."
