Despite his refusal, the woman remained kneeling, repeatedly begging him to reconsider, saying, “Please say yes.” Her voice trembled as she pleaded for a different outcome, but the man remained unmoved.
When she finally stood up, the crowd hoped he might change his mind. However, he once again declined, repeating “nope” several times. Overcome with emotion, the hun dropped to her knees for a second time, desperate for him to accept her proposal. The guy in the crowd, still trying to encourage a positive ending, told the man to “just say yes,” but his stance remained unchanged.
The tense exchange ended when the man walked away, leaving the woman behind. Gasps and murmurs from the surrounding crowd reflected the shock and discomfort of those who had witnessed the scene.
The video that was uploaded on 20 July 2025 on TikTok has since gained over 1.8 million views, with netizens debating the situation. While some sympathised with the woman’s courage, others argued that public proposals can place unfair pressure on partners and may lead to humiliating outcomes if the answer is “no.”
