Influencer Rivka Aisha sent social media into a frenzy on 20 October 2026 after publishing a cold and unapologetic message about a former friend who had reportedly passed away.

Rather than offering any form of condolences, Rivka shared a mock obituary, writing:

"With absolutely no tears and several unanswered questions, we announce the untimely departure of Jannah, a woman who spent her earthly days proving that not every woman's hobby is Pilates, brunch or travelling. Some women simply prefer other people's husbands."

The post claimed that the woman, identified only as Jannah, died from complications following several cosmetic procedures. The influencer offered zero sympathy, captioning the post with "Rest in Hell, Jannah."

What happened between the former friends

Rivka went on to explain the backstory behind the bitter fallout. She alleged that Jannah had entered her home under the guise of friendship before becoming romantically involved with her then-husband. According to Rivka, the situation spiralled into a drawn-out divorce and a costly court battle.

She revealed that a prior round of public posts about the drama had been taken down as part of a legal settlement.

"For all those new here, I did call out my ex first when it happened and promptly left him. There were multiple posts, but after a lengthy divorce and expensive court battle, we settled, and I agreed to remove the content and not repost it in exchange for more money," she explained.

Rivka did not stop there. In her 17-part tell-all, she also levelled serious accusations at the deceased, claiming Jannah had attempted to blackmail her ex-husband and later turned those same tactics on Rivka herself. Most gravely, she alleged that Jannah had made threats involving her children, which she says contributed to a custody dispute.

"Before you all come at me, this woman pretended to be my friend, came into my home, conned and blackmailed my ex and then tried to do the same to me. She threatened my children, among other things. She's part of the reason I ended up in a custody battle," Rivka wrote.

She later posted a screenshot of a letter from a family member of Jannah on 24 October, pleading with her to take down the posts.

Despite the turbulence of her past, Rivka appears to have moved forward in her personal life. The influencer announced her engagement in July, suggesting she has found happiness since the fallout with her former husband.
