British-Nigerian Influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo Reportedly Died From Enlargement Procedure

The cause of death of late British-Nigerian socialite Igho Ubiribo, widely known as Tiny, Denisi, or Ego, has reportedly been confirmed. The 43-year-old businessman and influencer is said to have died following a male enlargement procedure he underwent while on a luxury trip to Thailand with his wife.

An inquest held at Inner West London Coroners' Court revealed that Igho received 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected at an unnamed Thai clinic in March 2026, according to reporting by TMZ. He had been staying at a Marriott hotel in Bangkok alongside his wife of four years, Danielle Simba Allen, at the time.

What happened after the procedure

Shortly after the injection, the couple went for a massage. It was during this session that Igho began complaining of chest pain and lost consciousness twice. He was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital by ambulance and was initially responsive enough to answer questions from medical staff. Danielle informed the doctors about the filler injections, but Igho fell unconscious before a recommended CT scan could be carried out.

Medical staff determined he had developed a pulmonary embolism, a clot that blocks blood flow in the lungs, and he was moved to intensive care. Despite CPR being performed for over 100 minutes, Igho died in the early hours of 6 March.

A postmortem conducted in the UK discovered cellular material in his lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure. Coroner Jean Harkin officially ruled that the cosmetic treatment caused his death.

Davido among mourners at London funeral

Igho had built a reputation for his extravagant lifestyle and high-profile friendships, most notably with Nigerian superstar Davido, with whom he shared a close bond. The singer had served as one of the groomsmen at his friend's wedding in 2022.

The influencer was buried in London in a gold coffin, with Davido in attendance. The Afrobeats star also delivered a speech at the funeral and formed part of the lavish convoy that accompanied Igho to his final resting place.
