Devastating new details have emerged surrounding the death of actress Hayden Panettiere, with reports indicating she suffered an apparent substance-related emergency and was unresponsive when emergency personnel arrived on the scene.

According to People, advanced life support was administered to the Nashville star before she passed away. The circumstances of her final moments paint a deeply troubling picture for fans.

TMZ released an apparent recording of a dispatch call to the residence Panettiere was found in, where EMS responded to reports of an unresponsive woman in cardiac arrest.
