South Africa has been battling with Stage 6 and 5 loadshedding for a week, and the question on everyone's mind is, "When will it end?".
BusinessTech did a report to dermine how long South Africans should expect higher stages of loadshedding. Industry expert Peter Attard Montaldo mentioned that the solution to Eskom's woes is for President Cyril Ramaphosa and his government to implement the plans set out in the Crisis Energy Plan.
Montaldo said to Intellidex that things will worsen in the short-term, but lots of progress is made to sort out issues at Eskom in the long term.
“I think the real challenge is to manage expectations. We’re going to see prolonged periods of most likely Stage 6 and Stage 8 loadshedding between October and November and again around February."
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) National Spokesperson Leigh Mathys spoke to Newzroom Afrika about the crippling effects loadshedding has on the country. Mathys said that South Africans could remove the African National Congress (ANC) as the ruling party if they were seriously fed up with the ANC's incompetence.

"Flip Flopping. Not so long ago, EFF warned the government not to give Jeff Radebe and Patrice Motsepe power producers contracts because, according to their superior logic, they would be thanking CR for their donations. As we speak, the IPPs have been signed."
@MohiniRadeba tweeted:
"A real arrogant. You can only speak loot and burn."

"Electricity was never part of our indigenous heritage, should do fine without it."
@Hannah_Limbada suggested:
"Nah if loadshedding is going to be with us forever I think “ how to cross a four way stop” should be added to the matric syllabus because I can’t be fighting for my life at every intersection."
@SizweLo mentioned:
"The truth is that loadshedding is deliberate. The aim is to implant the idea that South Africa desperately needs renewables which will be provided by foreign power producers."
@darryn_b_holm asked:
"7 hours of #Loadshedding every day this week, and we are continuing like it is a norm. Can we please punish the @MYANC at the polls next year? This can’t continue."

@WPM8116 posted:
"Thanks for extending braai day to braai weekend, or shall we say, braai life! You guys are pathetic and a perfect representation of a failed government! "
