WomenCan is set to bring together some of South Africa’s most inspiring women for the return of A Night of Mystery Gala and WomenCan Awards, taking place on 29 August 2026 in Midrand.

Held under the theme “Rebirth and Reinvention”, the event will celebrate women who are breaking boundaries in the corporate world, building purpose-driven enterprises, transforming communities and creating meaningful change across South Africa.

Celebrating women who are driving change the WomenCan Awards aim to shine a light on women whose contributions often extend far beyond the spotlight, recognising their work across business, community, education, innovation and empowerment.

The 2025 WomenCan Awards recipients, including DJ Zinhle, Ntando Zikalala, Prof. Elelwani Ramugondo, Nozibele Mayaba, Dr Boitumelo Petla, Nomathamsanga Malatsi, Tanie Codes Organisation, Alex Boavida, Nompendulo Makhwatsha and Bokang Monjane Tshabalala, will pass on the baton by celebrating another group of phenomenal women.
This year's awards will recognise women across 10 categories:

What to expect at the WomenCan Awards
Guests can look forward to an evening celebrating empowerment, transformation and the power of community.
The programme will feature a keynote address by FASSET CEO Ayanda Mafuleka CA(SA), alongside a panel discussion exploring real stories of empowerment and transformation.
The evening will culminate in the WomenCan Awards ceremony, where this year's phenomenal women will be recognised for their impact.
