Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly preparing to send Naledi Hlongwane, Samkelo Zwane and Bontle Molefe to Cape Town on temporary deals, with newly promoted Motsepe Foundation Championship side Hope FC identified as their next destination.

The report comes from iDiski Times journalist Sinethemba Makonco, who indicated that the three Amakhosi players are set to join the Cape Town-based outfit on loan. The arrangement would allow each player to accumulate consistent senior minutes while Kaizer Chiefs continue to track their progress.

**Zwane Looking to Establish Himself**

Samkelo Zwane, a 24-year-old central and defensive midfielder, officially joined the Kaizer Chiefs senior setup in January 2023. He is recognised for his ability to pick out team-mates with long-range passes, a quality his father Eugene Zwane helped develop during his formative years. Despite making appearances in the Betway Premiership, Zwane has not cemented a regular starting role, and a previous loan spell at Siwelele did not alter that situation. A further temporary move is expected to offer him a more consistent platform.

**Hope FC Offers Hlongwane a Fresh Opportunity**

Versatile striker Naledi Hlongwane first drew attention through the DStv Diski Challenge, before earning selection in the Carling Black Label All-Stars final team. He subsequently contributed to his side's Carling Cup victory, which brought him to the attention of the Kaizer Chiefs first-team coaching staff and resulted in his integration into the senior squad. A spell at Hope FC is now seen as a chance for him to build on that momentum with regular playing time.

**Molefe's Path Back to Consistency**

Goalkeeper Bontle Molefe, who stands at 1.90 metres, signed his first senior contract with Kaizer Chiefs at just 16 years old. The 23-year-old has drawn comparisons with Amakhosi legend Itumeleng Khune, owing largely to his sharp reflexes between the posts. However, a serious wrist injury and stiff competition for the first-team shirt disrupted his development. He moved to Leicesterford City on loan in early 2026 to regain professional match practice, and Hope FC is now reportedly being lined up as his next temporary home.
