A video doing the rounds on X has stirred up controversy after Tanzanian beauty entrepreneur Poshy Queen appeared to expose private direct messages allegedly sent to her by the late Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo. The footage, shared by Zimbabwe blog @DandaroOnline, surfaced just days after Chivayo's death and has divided opinion sharply across social media.

Wicknell Chivayo's alleged messages

Filmed in a casual selfie style from what appears to be a bedroom setting, the video shows Poshy Queen scrolling through an Instagram profile and a DM conversation while narrating the contents. The messages, which she claims date back to May 2019, allegedly show Chivayo repeatedly sending her compliments, including lines such as "You are beautiful" and "you are so beautiful," with Poshy Queen appearing to have left every single message on read without a single reply.

Peeps react to the video leak

The timing of the video's release, coming so soon after Chivayo's death, drew sharp criticism from many who questioned Poshy Queen's motives.

@Darryl_Chisora wrote:

"That's soooo lame, there are hundreds of fake Wicknell accounts online, and she expects us to believe that's the real one? And she brings it out when she knows he can't respond. Seeking relevance."

@OnesimusKufazv1 pushed back on the authenticity of the narrative:

"Wicknell disgusted a lot of people and did a lot of vile things. But immorality was never his thing; he could have tried to be a playboy, but that wasn't really in him. We would have been hearing a lot of drama, but don't hate him to the extent of lying."

@JMaedzenge was not convinced by Poshy Queen's apparent disinterest:

"Claims she was not interested but was 'interested' enough to keep the messages and publish them after his death 🤣 This attention seeker is confused."

"Men court women every day; nothing special here; no need to single out one dead guy; she's obviously using this for attention."

"Why was she not showing it when he was alive?"

@MunyaradziMathe offered a different angle:

"What if she deleted her responses?"

Wicknell Chivayo did not own helicopter

Meanwhile, Briefly News shared that reports have also emerged suggesting Wicknell Chivayo did not own the helicopter he was travelling in when the crash occurred.

The revelation has left Zimbabweans questioning whether the late socialite's lavish lifestyle was built on borrowed assets.
