Former Rockville star Sello Motloung is one of the country's actors whose income has been affected dearly by the Covid-19 pandemic. The veteran actor humbled himself and took to Facebook to ask producers and directors on his timeline for an acting job.
The thespian, who has years of acting experience, shared that he doesn't even mind auditioning for any role that production houses can offer him at this difficult stage of his career. Motloung wrote:
"I'm just an actor, seeking a director/producer to cast me in their production, to show me some love. I wouldn't even mind auditioning for that role. Is there such a director/producer out there who would like me to be part of their production?"
Motloung has also appeared on shows such as Backstage, Ring of Lies and even international films Invictus and The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency.
ZAlebs reports that Motloung told Daily Sun that he just wants a chance to audition and is not asking for handouts.
"Our industry is going through turmoil too due to the pandemic. A lot of actors had challenges getting jobs even before the pandemic."
He shared that his last acting gig was on SABC 2's Lithapo in 2020.
