Despite the obstacles that came her way, a young lady with the Twitter name, ghanaian_jawn, has recently bagged her college degree.

In a post sighted on her Twitter page, she disclosed that she faced multiple adversities in her journey to obtaining the degree.

Despite the impediments amid a global pandemic that has affected her school and studies, she persevered.

''It's finally happening! Despite all the obstacles that were thrown in my way, my perseverance pushed me to the finish line,'' she said.

Ghanaian_jawn indicated that she is the first to graduate with a college degree in her family.

''First college graduate in my family! I have set the bar so high! Thank you, God,'' she added.

Earlier, Briefly News reported that over the last few months, South Africa has opened its arms to a plethora of graduates who will be helping the country reach new frontiers. Another gorgeous lady has become one of those proud graduates, according to Varsity World.

"A degreed social worker.-Nomvula Dlamini. Case management officer at SWAGAA," Varsity World's post reads about the gorgeous woman in her cap and gown.

Given the country's past and the fact that many South Africans simply could not afford to get a tertiary education, it is truly heartwarming to see that so many young locals are finally reaching this important milestone.

In other news, a Nigerian lady with the Twitter handle @Shadesof_kara has celebrated her matriculation ceremony. In a post on Wednesday, May 19, the lady said that she waited for five long years before she could have the opportunity of wearing a matric gown.

Celebrating the personal feat, the lady shared four photos where she struck different poses in the gown. Many tweeps congratulated her as they wished the student well in her academic career.
