Lamiez Holworthy’s Orphanage Receives Overwhelming Support: #Ubuntu

DJ Lamiez Holworthy has come forward to express the challenges she's facing regarding her dream of opening an orphanage and asked fans to assist. It's not an easy job.

Lamiez needs help. So, she reached out to her fans on social media, asking for assistance. Lamiez need beds for the children and a whole load more.

“I urgently need someone 2 donate 20 bunk beds or at least sell them 2 me at a discounted rate. My heart? Sometimes I feel like I bit off way more than I can chew regarding my orphanage and then I remember that this is bigger than me. Modimo le Badimo Baka always make a way.”

Within seconds, Lamiez had people offering to help. While some were offering the beds she needed, others reached out with other things they had to give. It's heart-warming to see a community come together like this.

“Hey sister, we can help you with the bunk beds at a discounted rate, we are a bed manufacturing company based in Johannesburg #SleepMonk please DM me.”
“DM me Chomi.”
“My mother recently passed, she ran a nursery school for 40 years. We have a room full of toys, games and puzzles if you can use them? Mostly for three years and older?”
“Lamiez I don't have bunk beds but I have bags of clothes and shoes. Where is the orphanage, I can take them. Some clothes are still in good condition and some are a bit worn out, still decent to wear.”
