There is no better drive than the memories of the hardship that got you to where you are today. Mzansi actor and musician Ringo Madlingozi has never forgotten his roots.

Following a dream and turning it into reality is not always as easy as it looks. Ringo had to sacrifice a lot to get to where he is today and make his dream of becoming an entertainer come true.

Briefly.co.za has learnt that, no matter how much time passes or how much success Ringo has achieved, the memories of his past have never left him.

Having slept in parks, isolated himself to save his loved ones from getting hurt, and facing his demons every day, Ringo became the man he is today.

Taking to social media, Ringo shared a few pictures from his past. He took us with him for a walk down memory lane.

The first, a picture of him with the first car that he ever bought, his first step towards success.

He then shared the step that brought his entertainment dreams to life and gave him the opportunity to show the world his talent.
