On Monday, Briefly.co.za reported on several videos and photos that show the chaos caused by the heavy rainfall in Gauteng.

Centurion has been hit the hardest and floods in the area were captured on camera. Now, another video shows the power of the floods in Centurion.

South Africa Live shared a video on Facebook showing a Mercedes-Benz getting swept away by the huge amount of water flooding the streets.

The video footage was watched more than 63 000 times in less than a day and South Africans reacted to the clip in their own unique way.

While many were saddened by the footage, others dealt with the situation through humour.

Kaone Molaolwe commented:

"The pastor who prayed for the rain forgot to say Amen."

Sbonelo Zulu wrote:

"Just when you cancelled your insurance and still shopping around... then this happens."

Emmanuel Simbarashe Mataruka said:

"But this car has no remorse. It's even climbing fences."

Trevor Tshepang added:

"And it's funny how the flood pick a Merc over Toyotas, Mitsubishis, Hyundais, and other Japanese cars."
