Taking to social media, a very proud Pearl posted in honour of our very own Miss Universe.

In the heart-warming post, Pearl explained how Zozi’s win means so much more than just a title and a crown, it has brought much needed hope, light and pride to our country.

Mzansi has been through a lot of ups and downs that have ripped away a lot of pride and hope from its people.

Pearl’s post is on point – Zozi, the people of Mzansi are so proud and eternally grateful for everything and all that you are!

Pearl's post hit home hard for many.
