UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis and his new wife Vasti Spiller gave South Africans a glimpse into their wedding reception with a slow-motion video shared on 13 October 2026. The clip, posted by @vasti_spiller, captured the couple's first dance inside a stunning venue dressed in burgundy draping and lit by an ornate crystal chandelier.
The pair officially tied the knot on 10 October 2026 in Paarl in the Cape Winelands, marking one of the most high-profile South African weddings of the year.

In the footage, Dricus lifts Vasti off the marble floor, twirling her around as she raises one foot and wraps an arm around his neck. Both are beaming, their smiles wide and unguarded, in what is clearly a deeply personal and joyful moment between the newly wedded couple.

The video struck a chord with fans who have followed the couple's journey, from their first meeting at a Pretoria boxing studio in 2023, to Dricus's historic UFC 297 win over Sean Strickland in January 2024, where Vasti cheered him on ringside as he became the first South African UFC champion. He proposed to her on his 31st birthday on 14 January 2025.
Vasti herself is no stranger to the spotlight. A former Miss South Africa 2022 contestant, she is also an entrepreneur, wedding photographer, boxing and kickboxing coach, and children's book author.
