Orlando Pirates defender Thabiso Monyane shared a message which moved many social media users on Tuesday.

Monyane touched on the path he followed to achieve his dream of playing for the first team and he gave God the glory.

The youngster has enjoyed a meteoric rise to success as former coach Rhulani Mokwena rated Monyane as the best right-back in the country.

Interestingly, Briefly.co.za predicted great things from Monyane as we previously named him as one of the seven youngsters to look out for at the start of the season.

Monyane shared some throwback photos and included the following caption:

"Just an ordinary boy who kept believing and never lost hope. God rewards patience."
