All Blacks loose forward Anton Segner has been ruled out of the rest of the Rugby's Greatest Rivalry tour in South Africa and will return home to New Zealand to recover from an ankle injury.

Segner underwent minor surgery to clear an infection from his ankle joint. All Blacks Head Coach Dave Rennie confirmed that the squad would not be bolstered by a replacement at this point in the tour.
