A 7-year-old is on his way to becoming the country's next top DJ. DJ Soso De DJ is already a professional DJ at his tender age. The young boy learnt his skills while watching his dad play at only 3 years of age.

As soon as his father spotted Hlompho Base's talent, he started teaching him to play. Dj Soso De DJ has been training with his father for 4 years. He has already played for his first big crown when he performed at the Dinaledi Kids Festival. He shared the stage with another child performer, DJ Arch.

The young boy was born and raised in Sasolburg and is currently in grade 2. According to his mother, she spotted his talent early as well and wishes to support him.

"I also have a wish that he gets an engineering degree as well"

Hlompho is now to play in different events and bigger crowds. Due to school, he is only available on weekends. His parents have been very strict about putting education first.

Dj Soso is currently signed by Skyhigh Brands. His short term goal is to get his own laptop and CDJ so he can train anytime he wants to do so.
