Bonang Matheba has had to dismiss rumours that she is bleaching her skin after she recently shared some pictures on social media. The media mogul was rocking beautiful blonde hair and looking noticeably lighter.

While many complimented the media personality on looking amazing, others questioned her new complexion.

Taking to Instagram, some social media users pressed her and wanted to know why she was suddenly looking so much lighter.

Her loyal BForce defended her with some explaining that it was the blonde hair colour that made her appear lighter. Bonang then responded and told her haters that her complexion is 100% natural. She said:

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Bonang recently debuted gorgeous blonde hair but not everyone was loving her new look. Ntsiki Mazwai took to social media to take a not-so-subtle jab at the media mogul's gold locks.

Ntsiki Mazwai has always been an anti-weave and anti-wig girl. The poet made it clear that she did not approve of Bonang's hair, especially with the recent uproar after the retail store Clicks criticised ethnic hair. Read more:

"Lol, same people crying Clicks must fall YESTERDAY are TODAY hailing a blonde weave. I'm off Twitter today. You guys are a joke."
