Twitter users are in utter disbelief at a post shared by one of controversial religious leader, Shepherd Bushiri's followers. Obakeng Kelebogile Matlapeng shared a post on Facebook after the Bushiris were arrested. She said:

"Papa we are behind you. We know you are arrested for our sins."

Popular parody account AdvoBarryRoux shared the post to Twitter with the caption: "Bushiri is arrested for what?" Saffa tweeps rushed to his replies section to share their thoughts on Bushiri and his followers.

Earlier, reported on Bushiri's supporters arriving in their numbers to protest outside court. This after his followers flocked to the Pretoria Magistrate's Court to support their religious leader and his wife, Mary, yesterday. The self-proclaimed prophet and his wife were arrested on charges of money laundering and fraud.

The arrest did not affect their supporters' love for the controversial leader and his wife. Supporters arrived in their numbers to the court yesterday morning with signs and banners proving that they are willing to stand behind the couple.

In a video uploaded to the Facebook page for Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, a man by the name of Derrick speaks to an interviewer. Derrick spoke to those who were against the prophet, he said they planned on organising a "big march," he then urged followers to go to Pretoria to join the protest.
