"Papa, I'm beginning to think they see him as their Jesus... For saying 'you are arrested for our sins'"

@malefuj said:

"I think stupidy in SA is spreading more than Covid-19... What's wrong with people when it comes to this criminal?"

@wisemannhlanhl4 replied:

"The only sins I see him getting arrested for is his fraud and money laundering, I don't know what this girl is on, I even tried to measure her audacity. Long story short I almost collapsed. Anyways I'm not judging."

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported on Bushiri's supporters arriving in their numbers to protest outside court. This after his followers flocked to the Pretoria Magistrate's Court to support their religious leader and his wife, Mary, yesterday. The self-proclaimed prophet and his wife were arrested on charges of money laundering and fraud.

The arrest did not affect their supporters' love for the controversial leader and his wife. Supporters arrived in their numbers to the court yesterday morning with signs and banners proving that they are willing to stand behind the couple.

In a video uploaded to the Facebook page for Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, a man by the name of Derrick speaks to an interviewer. Derrick spoke to those who were against the prophet, he said they planned on organising a "big march," he then urged followers to go to Pretoria to join the protest.
