TNS recently took to social media to throw major shade at DJ Maphorisa after it emerged that he is dating a 19-year-old brand influencer.
The Ayabonga hitmaker advised "grandpa" Phori to stay away from young girls. The musician, who has just dropped his single Nyathela, further shared that young girls, born in the 2000s, would only like him once he stops wearing his doeks. Maphorisa has become popular in Mzansi for wearing expensive Gucci doeks and headbands.
TNS, who is preparing to drop his new double-disc album titled Phupholethu in November, went after Phori on Facebook. The star dissed Maphorisa:
"Grandpa Maphorisa is bored again, he is busy with us. Ama-2000 will love you once you stop wearing those ugly doeks on your head and chasing after children."
One social media user took a screenshot of TNS' post and tagged Prince Kaybee on Twitter. Kaybee expressed that he wants nothing to do with TNS' post. The Hosh hitmaker replied to the tweep:
"For once please tag me when you see something positive."
Some fans explained that they only wanted Kaybee to talk to TNS because he was now "burning bridges" in the music industry.
Kaybee is considered as TNS' mentor in Mzansi and he has also beefed with Phori on social media. Kaybee introduced TNS to Mzansi when they worked together on his smash hits titled Banomoya and Club Controller.
In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that DJ Maphorisa came under fire after it emerged that he was allegedly dating a 19-year-old. This comes after the teen influencer was exposed by her friend on social media.
The conversation shifted to Maphorisa with many criticising him for entertaining younger women. Influencer Cyan Bouke accused her former friend, Beverly (who is also a brand influencer) of dating the Mzansi muso. She posted a screenshot of a conversation with her where Beverly revealed that she is dating the Amapiano artist.
Although Maphorisa has neither confirmed nor refuted the claims, social media users have weighed in. Twitter user Buhle_Nolls saud:
"We've normalised dating older men & called them blessers, we've normalised posting nudes on the socials on some it's our bodies [sic] we can do with them as we wish, we've been saying things like 'secure the bag sis' & now we want to come here & question morals? Njani? #Maphorisa."
