One of the producers of Scandal! has disputed reports that claimed Hungani Ndlovu is set to make a comeback on the show after being given a salary increment.

According to recent reports, the talented actor is not returning to the soapie after all. One of the show's producers Sanele Zulu has shared that the star will not be returning to the programme.

Zulu shared that Hungani left the show on his own will. He had asked for leave to deal with personal issues, according to Zulu. He also revealed that there's no bad blood between Hungani and Scandal!

A local publication recently reported that Hungani had been offered a huge salary increment to return to the show. According to ZAlebs, Celeb Now claimed:

"Rumour has it that Romeo Medupe will now be earning at least between R85 000 and R100 000 per month... With this improved salary Hungani Ndlovu has become one of the most paid not only on Scandal but in Mzansi."

Zulu told Daily Sun that the rumours were untrue. Zulu said:

"Any rumours regarding Hungani Ndlovu either resigning or returning to Scandal! due to salary issues are false."

In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that Hungani Ndlovu has closed his talent academy due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The talented actor took to social media recently to share that his talent agency called Sans Group will close its doors indefinitely in 2021.

Hungani shared an emotional video on Instagram a few days ago where he explains that those who had been longing to visit Sans Group's offices in Parkhurst won't be able to do so this year.

"If you have been longing to come to Sans group to take a class or meet us or learn more about what we about or get some training from, I'm sorry you won't get to do that in 2021. Unfortunately will be closing, the Sans group will be closing it's doors, I don't know for how long."

The star also shared that their offices have been closed since 18 March 2020 due to the Covid-19 lockdown in Mzansi and the rest of the world.
