President Donald Trump is turning on his allies, he is upset with his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani to the extent that the has given the instruction that he is not to be paid.
The New York Times reported that his relationship with Guliani has deteriorated. His personal lawyer was one of his close aides who encouraged Trump to believe in friend conspiracy theories about fraud claims in the election.
According to the Washing Post Guiliani was charging Donald Trump $20 000 (R300 000) a day for his services while he jetted across the country to challenge the election results.
Trump's friends are growing few and far between as he turns on those who remain in his inner circle, becoming increasingly short tempered.
Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that the Walker Texas Ranger actor Chuck Norris found himself in the middle of a controversy after a viral photo of someone looking like him attending the violent pro-Trump rally in the United States capitol emerged.
Norris denied that he had attended the pro-Trump rally which turned violent.
Following allegations that he was part of the rowdy group that invaded Washington DC, the veteran actor denounced the claims through a post on his Twitter account saying:
''I recently learned there was a Chuck Norris lookalike at the DC Capitol riots. It wasn’t me and I wasn’t there. There is no room for violence of any kind in our society. I am and always will be for law and order. Your friend, Chuck Norris.''
Even A-list celebrities couldn't help but react and took to their social media platforms to share thoughts and feelings about the first president to ever be impeached twice.
Chrissy Teigen and Cardi B, both longtime Trump critics, posted their reactions. Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family mocked the outgoing president along with comedian Billy Eichner.
