Emotional Moment as Joe Biden Invites Nigerian Family to White House
- A Nigerian family has got a direct invite to visit the 46th President of America, Joe Biden, at the White House
- The president appreciated the family for their support as he spoke about how the US is a nation of immigrants like them who make the country strong
- Biden also asked the family's kids to take care of their daddy, adding that he looks forward to meeting all of them

The new president of the United States, Joe Biden, has honoured a Nigerian family resident in the country after they supported him during his election. He called and invited them to the White House.
In a video that has since gone viral, 12-year-old Josephine and her father who are from Ibadan in Oyo state, spoke to the president and his first lady, Jill Biden.
During their lovely phone chat, the president asked the father where he is from in Nigeria. He also made other small talks with them.
The 12-year-old girl said she has always only seen him on TV, adding that talking to him is a dream come true. She also wished the new president a smooth tenure.
The president said the girl sounds as if she is 23-years-old as he marvelled at her eloquence.
At every point in the conversation, the president kept admiring the girl's intelligence. He jokingly added that the girl must remember him when she one day becomes the president of the US.
When the president invited them, the father was so happy as he said:
"President Biden, please make it real, we'd love to come."
To that, Joe Biden said:
"I am serious. We don't say anything we don't mean..."

Meanwhile Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Joe Biden, may not use the current Air Force 1, his official aircraft, for long as they are due for an upgrade and new ones are being prepared.
It was gathered that the current VC-25As Air Force 1 aircraft scheduled for replacement, had its first flight with George W. Bush.
In other news, the photos of a cat and its reaction during the inauguration ceremony of Joe Biden's presidency on Wednesday, January 20, have gone viral
Phots showed that the cat was wide-eyed as Jennifer Lopez performed her popular song, Let's get Loud at the event.
The owner of the pet, Sarah Kaplan, shared the snaps on her Twitter page and said:
"My cat when JLo broke into 'Let's get Loud".
In the first frame of the shared pictures, the cat lay on the couch as she backed the PC streaming the live event.
When the video of the singer came on, the cat looked wide awake as it stared at the person taking its pictures.
