Rege Jean Page Discloses How Family Reacted to Scenes on Bridgerton

- Bridgerton actor Rege Jean Page has disclosed how he had to send warning signals to family members before they could watch the popular show

- While appearing on a talk show, the 31-year-old hunk explained that they have a family Whatsapp group where he had to tell his family which part to avoid watching

- The film star also noted that there were family members who missed the memo and ended up sending him stern messages for failing to alert them

The 31-year old said his family members raised questions on the messaging group and most resulted to sharing warning signs when watching the show.

While the regency show got a huge streaming as soon as it started airing on Netflix, one of the reasons was because of the hunk who later got the 'king of withdrawal' nickname.

While appearing on The Graham Norton Show, Page disclosed how he had to break the news for his family members. He said:

''We've got a family WhatsApp group, so there is a couple flashing red light emojis and there is the odd peach emoji, certain people have threatened to rate my peach.''

He also said that not every family member got the highlights he shared as not all of them are in the chat group.

"A couple of cousins missed the memo, so they were watching the show and I got a very stern message in my Instagram Direct Message just going, 'There really needs to be a cousin warning.'" He said.

He also mentioned a story where he at some point had a conversation with one of his cousins who wondered how long the steamy scenes lasted.

He recalled his cousin talking to him after the show saying:

The Duke of Hastings as he is popularly known was featured on Briefly.co.za after news that he had been nominated for 2021 SAG awards.

He has been nominated for his outstanding performance by a male actor in the drama series category.

While everyone is rooting for him, the young star will be up against top veteran actors who also feature in popular shows on Netflix.
