Kelly Khumalo is considering giving up booze. The singer said that her body has been rejecting alcohol and drinking was becoming an unpleasant experience.
Taking to Twitter, Khumalo shared:
“I think my relationship with alcohol is doomed, my body is literally rejecting it, why do I still drink? I’m up trying to figure out why do I continue to do this to myself? Honestly this can’t be my life...”
Social media users shared their thoughts about her confession.
Twitter user Kaylesabe said:
“Kells, there comes a time when the body rejects it. Sometimes its because of age. There is nothing wrong with not drinking, I am laughing cos I feel the same way sometimes.”
Moshe Ndiki said:
“Same here. I was saying this just yesterday, abundifuni as a result let me just take a break, it makes me sick from first glass.”
“Break a habit by replacement... there is definitely a hobby within you patiently waiting to be amped up.”
“Dear Kelly. Alcohol is what we call heavy. If your system is rejecting it's because you are on the pathway to light. Nothing wrong with that. Your body is telling you this.”
“My body has been rejecting alcohol lately... I've decided to stop for a bit or drink a maximum of 2 ciders.”
Taking to social media, the vocalist shared that she was going to be releasing the song Ngathwala Ngaye next.

If the reaction is anything to go by, the song will enjoy just as much success as Empini.
