South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) beneficiaries can expect their November grant payments to be spread across three consecutive days at the start of the month.

Older persons grants will be paid out first on Tuesday, 3 November, followed by disability grants on Wednesday, 4 November. Children's grants will be processed last, on Thursday, 5 November.

How much each grant pays in November

The amounts beneficiaries will receive remain consistent with recent months. Older persons and disability grants are both set at R2 400, while the war veterans grant comes in slightly higher at R2 420. The care dependency grant also pays R2 400, and the foster child grant sits at R1 300.

What to do if your payment does not arrive

SASSA advises beneficiaries to keep their bank details current and active ahead of each payment cycle. If a scheduled date lands on a weekend or public holiday, the agency moves the payout to the next available business day.

Anyone who has not received their funds within two to three business days of their expected date should contact SASSA directly on 0800 60 10 11 or visit their nearest SASSA office.

Beneficiaries are also encouraged to avoid collecting on the official payment day itself to sidestep long queues. Funds remain accessible after the stated date, so there is no urgency to collect immediately.

For ongoing updates, beneficiaries can visit the official SASSA website for the latest information on grants and payment schedules.
