Man Makes Cool 'Tom & Jerry' Rug, Internet Has Mixed Reactions
- A man's creative rug has got people talking online because he modelled it after a cartoon character called Tom
- There were many who found the rug both funny and scary as some said they may not use in the house at night
- The man's photo is arguably one of the most-engaged contents on Twitter with over one million likes

A talented young creator with the Twitter handle @nellaf has created a master art out of the popular Tom and Jerry cartoon.
In a Twitter post, the man shared a photo of the foot rug he made that looks exactly like Tom. To achieve the striking similarity, the man placed the piece on staircases, making it look like a scene from the series.
@nellaf said he was greatly inspired by the cartoon to create the work. In a subsequent tweet, the talented artist shared more photos of his work.
His work called up memories for many as people relived their favourite scenes from a series that was a big part of their childhood.

In similar news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on a man who made a 'zip' boat. A Japanese designer, Yasuhiro Suzuki, created the giant zip boat and a video of it has been shared on social media.
In the video that was shared on LinkedIn by a user identified as Talal Al Murad, the boat could be seen moving as if it's opening the water.
Sharing the video on his page, Talal Al Murad wrote:
