Some questioned this, one tweep replied that if you get accepted for NSFAS then you get two grants but others said it was too risky to cancel the R350 and risk not being accepted by NSFAS.

"How do you cancel your income while you are not guaranteed that @myNSFAS is going to approve you? I am willing to cancel my 350 if I’m guaranteed for @myNSFAS."

@phethani4:

"According to NSFAS and government i if you are unemployed you must stay on the 350 forever but you cannot have aspirations to go and study at university they won't give you finding because you are already benefiting ka 350."

@DjNewAfrica:

"NSFAS deleted that rubbish tweet. They must be investigated. I think they were illegally rejecting applicants of grant recipients. The admin mistakenly disclosed that information."
